REAL WOMEN REPRESENTATIVE RECEIVES AWARD

REAL Women is delighted that our representative at the UN, Ginger Malacko of Lethbridge, Alberta, was awarded, along with 21 other Albertans, the Alberta Centennial Medal on November 7, 2005. This medal celebrates Alberta's first 100 years by paying tribute to Albertans whose selfless efforts have benefited the lives of their fellow citizens, their community and their province.

Ginger was recommended by MP Rick Casson (Lethbridge, Alberta) for her work at the UN defending life and family. Ginger, who is 30 years of age, has attended many many UN sessions over the years on behalf of REAL Women in New York and Geneva, where she has defended moral and social issues relating to women's rights, aging, cloning, population, environment, children's rights and human rights.

REAL Women is very proud of our member, Ginger, for all her wonderful efforts at the UN on behalf of all humanity!
