IN MEMORIAM

On January 26, 2002, REAL Women of Canada suffered a great loss with the death of one of its most dedicated board members, Mary Anna Kaiser of Kelowna, BC.

As her daughter (also named Mary Anna) wrote to us:

"My mom loved your organization. She truly lived to do your work. No matter how ill she felt, or tired she was, she would get this determined burst of energy just to make calls about whatever cause was on her heart. And you gave her a 'voice' for many of those causes."

Over the past twelve years, Mary Anna's dedication never stopped, whether she was working on the local, provincial or national boards. She traveled to meetings, circulated petitions, spoke to politicians, clergy, and anyone else who would listen.

She wrote articles, and letters to the editor. She made hundreds of phone calls. She protested, gave financial resources and prayed.

Mary Anna's dedication to the family as the foundation of society was an ever-burning flame which glowed in her heart, her mind and her soul. May God bless you, Mary Anna, for all your great work and your love of God and for His family.

We will treasure your memory always and the great example you set for us all. We are richer for having known you and poorer by your loss.
