MEET OUR SPEAKERS
LINK BYFIELD
Link is Chairman of Citizens Centre for Freedom
and Democracy. He is the former editor and publisher of the
Report news magazine. In 1978 he joined the Report magazine
as a farm reporter and rose to executive editor of the news
staff in 1984. He was appointed publisher of what was then
known as Alberta Report in 1985 succeeding his father, Ted
Byfield, as the magazine's chief of operations. He is married
and has four children.
HEATHER STILWELL
Heather is a Trustee for the Surrey Public
School Board. She is serving her fourth three-year term.
Heather is past president of Surrey Delta Pro-Life, B.C. Pro-Life
and Alliance for Life, and she was a founding member and leader
of the Christian Heritage Party of Canada. She is an outspoken,
common sense advocate for parental rights, family
values and the right to life. Heather is married with eight
children and six grandchildren
JASON KENNEY
Jason is Member of Parliament for Calgary
Southeast since1997. He is the Official Opposition Canada-US
Foreign Affairs Critic. He was co-chair of the Stockwell Day
leadership campaigns in 2000 and 2002, the Canadian Alliance
2000 Election Campaign, and was founding co-chair of the Parliamentary
Pro-Life Caucus. Jason was born in Ontario and raised in southern
Saskatchewan, where he graduated from Notre Dame College.
C. GWENDOLYN LANDOLT
Gwen is a graduate of the Faculty of Law,
University of British Columbia and was called to the BC bar.
She has worked in private practice as a Crown Prosecutor as
well as with the federal Justice Department. Gwen is a founding
member and the National Vice-President of REAL Women of Canada.
She has written numerous briefs and articles with special
emphasis on constitutional issues, in particular the Charter
of Rights. She is married and has five children.
